Custodian
Brian Shumaker began working at WOLBC on September 22, 2025 as our Custodian. His duties include cleaning, maintenance, and assisting with building needs for special events. He is looking forward to serving the church and its members in this ministry.
Brian was born in Toledo, Ohio and the family moved to Alpena when he was a month old. He was raised in the Catholic faith. Brian and his wife Traci were introduced to each other by mutual friends, and the rest is history! Their family includes their son Joe, his wife Samantha, and one amazing granddaughter, Haley. Brian enjoys shooting skeet, camping, hunting, and spending time with his family.
Brian & Traci started attending Word of Life in early 2025, right around the time of the great Ice Storm of 2025.
One of Brian’s favorite Bible verses would be from Proverbs 19:1, "Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is crooked in speech and is a fool." (ESV)
