Non-staff Elder
Dan Kirschner began serving as a Non-staff Elder at WOLBC since non-staff eldership was instituted. Non-staff Elders are men who meet the biblical Elder qualifications but do not serve in a vocational role at World of Life Baptist Church. Among other things, Dan serves as the Elder Liaison for our Men's Ministries, Trustees, and Security Team. Dan is the class leader of our Seekers ABF.
Dan has attended Word of Life through three name and address changes, including "4th Avenue Baptist Church" and "Ripley Boulevard Baptist Church." Dan retired from Besser Company after 36 years and enjoys living in the country, having done some farming and also working with draft horses. Dan enjoys driving horse wagon and sleigh rides as a favorite hobby. Dan is happy to be serving this body of believes and upholding the Word of Truth.
One of Dan’s favorite Bible verses is Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." (ESV)
