Non-staff Elder
Kevin Dore began serving as a Non-staff Elder at WOLBC in 2016. Non-staff Elders are men who meet the biblical Elder qualifications but do not serve in a vocational role at World of Life Baptist Church. Among other things, Kevin serves as the Elder Liaison for our Library Team, leads Kids Worship Too (KW2) and VBS, and is part of our Worship Team.
Kevin was saved as a young boy. He was blessed to grow up in a family that loved the Lord. He married his high school sweetheart over 30 years ago. They have 3 dogs. He works as a heavy equipment technician at a local mine. In his spare time he likes to read.
One of Kevin’s favorite Bible verses is Philippians 3:12-14 Phil. 3:12 "Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." (ESV)
